Also worth a visit are the many “Themenwege” (theme
paths) in Neuhaus which illustrate in a very real way the main features
if the Raab-area. The “Themenweg Alte Grenze” path in Neuhaus am Klausenbach
contains information about the 1000 years of history of the region and Tabor
castle which will become a museum after restoration works are completed
and will include an information point. |

In Neuhaus farmers have created an
“Apple-path”. On the “Life-path” in Mühlgraben guests learn about the
ecology of rivers and lakes and can try to water-divining with a special
wooden instrument. On the “Grain-path” in Minihof Liebau, you can take a
trip back to the historic period when the cultivation of grain was begun.
In St. Martin guests can observe hill tombs of the Roman period and the
Norisch-Pannonic tombs in Rax/Jennersdorf take you back to the Roman period,
too. In Maria Bild you can walk on the Pilgrim path, and in Mogersdorf the
“Peace-path” leads up to the castle hill, where a cross was erected in remembrance
of the battle against the Turks in 1664. With such a variety of activities
you can be guaranteed that nobody will be bored. |
